Smile Unanswered: Check empty form fields

    All,

I have a form that displays four controls, but many rows of the same four controls (same names). Check out the following example:

    Col1 Col2 Col3 Col4
    a b c d
    e f g h
    . . . . (and so on)

I want to be able to enforce required entry in Col4 (no null allowed) for all rows. I have tried looping thru controls, but the function will only check the current field and the user is allow to exit the form without filling in the other fields (that have the same control name).

How can I make sure that the control for Col4 (many records) is filled in?

    Thanks,

    B. Davis-

Make the field in the underlying table a required field?
All code ADO/ADOX unless otherwise specified.

I have tried using required field on underly table and I can still exit the form.

I understand setting the form as Modal, but how do I set the cancel function to not allow to exit with controls that are null. Could you please provide a example.

    Thanks,

    B.Davis-
