    Unanswered: dbisql command line question

I'm trying to run a select statement from the command line for monitoring purposes (to pipe off the results to nagios).

I'm using the following command format:

    ./dbisql -c "uid=dba;pwd=<password>;dbn=<database name>" -host <> -port 2638 "select * from <table_name>"

    What I'm getting back is:

Table or view not found: Table '<table_name>' not found

It looks like I'm just not specifying database name properly, as I get proper results if I run a query against sysobjects.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong here? I've been digging through documentation all day...

I neeeded to specify the user with the table name:

    ./dbisql -c "uid=dba;pwd=<password>;dbn=<database name>" -host <> -port 2638 "select * from <user>.<table_name>"
