    Unanswered: forms ---saving will lose libraires module-11iapps

    hiya

    I am using Oracle Form --ASTRCALL.fmb as part of the Oracle 11iApps and if I make changes in the forms designer (in the property palette), if I then save the form, it will not have all the plsql libaries attached:

    I see this when I ftp the file over to UNIX box, (going into $AU_TOP/forms/US/ASTRCALL.fmb

    THEN COMPILE FORM;
    f60gen module= ASTRCALL.fmb apps/apps output_file = =$AST_TOP/forms/US/ASTRCALL.fmx module_type=form compile_all=special

    I get errors: form is not created along with all the plsql libaries not attached.

    While compiling

    Welcome to the wonderful world of Forms on Unix.
    The problem is that tools on the PC are case INSENSITIVE;
    while *nix is a case sensitive OS.
    Assume I create a library called "base.pll" on *nix.
    In order to compile forms against this library,
    I had to create two additional softlinks in the same folder
    BASE.pll
    Base.pll
    You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
    The average person thinks he's above average!
    For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
    Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
