Red face Unanswered: control cursor position within a field

Is it possible to control where the cursor appears when you tab to a field?
    for example:
I have a telephone field which I set up with the input mask from the input mask wizard. !\(999")"000\-0000;;_
I set the default value to be "(904)"

what I want is when you tab to the field, the cursor should be AFTER the right paren ")" so I can just type in the numbers. What is happening is that the whole field is highlighted when I tab to it and when you begin typing numbers it deletes the area code. . if I do a right arrow it goes to the next field instead of the end of last position of that field.

The field is defined as text with a size 13. I'm thinking I may wind up having to separate the area code to another field and then group them later as an alternative. . any ideas/suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Use the Selstart property of the control as in:

    Me!Phone.Selstart = 4
