    Notes pump? Notetrix?

What do you mean moving...like off Notes...I sure hope so....

But I bet you want to synch Notes, right?

The physical order of data in a database has no meaning.

Invalid character? It thinks you are a very strange person?

On a more serious note, this typically means that the ODBC driver for Notes has gotten a character that it doesn't know how to handle. If you are using older drivers, you'll get that a lot when you try to move BLOBs from Notes to an IMAGE column in SQL Server.

The only fix that I know of is to upgrade the ODBC drivers, or switch to another data movement tool.

    Pat,

Thanks for the info. I used the NOTESSQL3.02 version today now the Invalid character error was gone but getting a new one...
[ODBC Lotus Notes]FROM Keyword expected.... I put the trace and the select statement is fine. No Idea why?. I welcome any feedback on this.

    Satya,

The data move is via ODBC NOTESSQL driver.(Version 3.02) getting a new error [ODBC Lotus Notes]FROM Keyword expected. Any update on this?.

NO DATA is copied from LOTUS NOTES to MS SQL Server database. But the table has been created in MS SQL Server. I am getting the connection since it asks me to enter the password then I get the error [LOTUS NOTES] FROM KEYWORD EXPECTED. Does this help?.
