    Unanswered: Give user a way to find files on disk

    I would like to be able to populate a field in an Access 2000 table with directory\filename that the user would get from a popup box, the way one would do, for example, in Word, by selecting File, Open.

    Can anyone help me on this?

    Add the Microsoft Common Dialog Control 6.0 component to your form then type

    CommonDialog.Filter = "Access Database Files|*.MDB" (Optional)

    CommonDialog.ShowOpen

    The result of the user selection can be found here

    CommonDialog.FileName
