    Unanswered: Sequence associated with which table

    Is there any way thri which I can find that my particular sequence is associated with which table ?

    I Think every sequense is independece object, so there are no way for you to sastify your question. You can use sequence every where using sequense name. I think so.

    This was what I was thinking. But i thought may be there is some way thru which we can find out the usage of particular sequence in some table. May be some linking is done in tables like all_tables etc.

    No, you can only find out indirectly by searching for code in triggers, procedures or the client application that uses the sequence. Then see what table is being inserted into by that code.

    The fact is, a sequence may be used to populate columns in 1 table, many tables, or no tables.
