    Problem Description: ====================
    When you attempt to generate a form in Oracle Forms, the following error occurs:
    FRM-30062: Unable to perform bind variable substitution for statement <statement>.

    Your PL/SQL code successfully compiles.

    Solution Description: =====================
    On the block property sheet, make sure to accurately enter the text for the WHERE Clause and/or ORDER BY Clause properties. Make sure not to use invalid object references.

    SEEM TO HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM

    actually was an issue of inaccurate referncing. I had changed certain aspects in the object navigator ...changed them back to the way it was and it worked alright.

    thanks
