Unhappy Unanswered: Raising an Event in Windows

    Hi Peeps

I got a very very stupid question here. Personally I think that its impossible but some people say that its very possible and can be done easily.

Can you automatically(program into Oracle) that when a row is inserted into a table, that it must start a VB Application in Windows without having any other application waiting to capture the database event. This must be done but Oracle and Oracle only.

Any comments, even if its not topic related, are welcomed.

Search on External Procedures. This allows you to execute code outside of the database.
