Unanswered: Rounding Numbers when I don't want it to...

I could really use some wisdom here...

I have a short vb code that says once the product is updated, make the order unit price equal to the catalog unit price...

    Me!UnitPrice=Me!CatPrice

But...for some reason it's rounding up the numbers (ie, 139.75, is becoming 140)

Anyone know why and how to fix this?

    Thanks!

    Susan

    Use Currency

If you use currency it should not round!

That's what I thought too - both fields are set to currency, both are set to auto for decimals...I tried setting both to 2 for decimals, but it didn't work either.

    Any other thoughts?

I have read in some books things happen because the "Regional Settings in Windows Control Panel " are not set properly.

    Hi Susan,

check the properties of the field in the table.

If it is integer or long in the table, the properties of the control won't have an effect.

    Paul -

Thanks so much - that fixed the problem.
