The DBCA is Database Configuration Assitance Wizard. It used to install / create a oracle database. Oracle9i DBCA is used to create Oracel9i Database. or it can be created with the script manually from SQL-PLUS. But u hv to hv Oracle S/w Installed first on ur HOST m/c. And DBCA is part of the complete oracle s/w distributed in ur media.

What does it mean by installing Oracle 10g? Is it complete oracle s/w or just 10g database.? I do not hv idea about 10g so not sure...

    Thanks.
