    Unanswered: data filter in reports

    This may be easy but I am not sure how to do this.

    simply put I have a field thats in a report thats well over 25,000 records large. a large majority of those fields are blank (null), what little data that is in the field (text) I need it to show up in the report. So essentially I need it to display data only if there is data to display and not pages and pages of blank fields and then on page 356 have an entry.

    I hope that makes sense.

    If it's one field you need to check for null values....

    In the datasource (query) of the report, you can set the criteria for that field(s) to: Is Not Null

    You can do this for multiple fields but take care to enter criteria on a seperate line if the condition is OR (ie: Field Not Null OR Field2 Not Null, etc)
