Unanswered: Printing Page Numbers For Individual Report Groups

    Goodday to everyone,

I have a Master Purchase Order (PO) which contains multiple Factories.

Each Factory Requires Part of that Master PO to be faxed to them, therefore using the report tool, I have managed to Group the data by Factory.

The problem is really trivial, to simply print the start and end page numbers for each group.

    The tutorial is as follows.
    http://www.mvps.org/access/reports/rpt0013.htm

But I simply cannot get it to work.
I have created a textbox control and named it as mentioned in the tutorial Me!ctlGrpPages but it doesnt even display in the report, no matter which Header of footer I place it in.
I have also checked the visible option, and it is placed to YES.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't tried this but, the actual name of the textbox should be:
    "ctlGrpPages"

    (prematurely hit the send button)

...The "Me!" part should remain in the code.

    Hope that helps.

    Thumbs down Not Working Sorry

First of all, apologies for the late reply. And thank you for your prompt one cpgospi.

I have tried that, and it doesnt seem to work. Do you have any other ideas? Anyone elses replies would be greatly welcomed. Simple yet so essential to have the page numbers for each group.

    Talking Figured it Out

This is such a stupid problem. Have no idea if the previous tutorial will work for some of you. But if you are using access 2000 and above, I found a link which works for me.

This is a way easier solution.

    http://support.microsoft.com/default...15&Product=acc
    This should solve it.

who knew microsoft had it documented hehe
    Have fun people.
