    Question Unanswered: Who know the max size of a record in byte of Oracle

    For example, the max size of one record of MSSQL2K is 8060, I want to know the same data of Oracle 9i or 10g

    Oracle9i -- it's 255000.

    Isn't it 8036 for mssql2k?

    I got the 8060byte pre line(pre record?) from BOL of SQL2K
