    Unanswered: newbie:how can i get procedure's parameters information?

    i can't find any procedure or table/view which from i can get the parameters information

    not that

    i want to get a recordset for that

    in sql server,i can use "sp_sproc_columns 'procedurename' " to get the result

    what's the same opertion in oracle?

    info. on procedure parameter

    Try this system supplied PL/SQL package.
    DBMS_DESCRIBE
    (you can get info. on any PL/SQL object using this one)

    you could do something like this
    SELECT DBMS_DESCRIBE(....) AS "proc_params"
    FROM DUAL
