Unanswered: DATA FROM DB2 TO MS SQL Server - where clause is not working
I am coping data from DB2 to MS SQL server 2000, I am not getting the mathed rows. The issue is in SQL Server, it is coping all rows from DB2. My where clause in SQL is not working. I am using DTS and use Query to specify data transfer is my I have a column on DB2 with DATE as datatype and I am looking to load data from 2004. My SQL is,
SELECT * FROM TABLE
WHERE TABLENAME.COLUMN >= '2004-01-01'
My data is stored in DB2 as 'yyyy-mm-dd' format.
1. This where clause is not giving the matching rows instead it gives all the rows in the table. Any idea?
2.Any idea if the data type in DB2 is packed (hexa decimal/ comp-3), how we can use the column value in SQL SERVER
Please help me on. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated!.
