    Unanswered: BCP Help

    Hi
    Here is how my csv file looks like
    1 name 1000
    2 name1 2000
    3 3000
    4 name4

    I want to in sert nulls in the table if there are no values in the csv file.

    But bcp is giving error as
    Starting copy...
    CTLIB Message: - L0/O0/S0/N0/0/0:
    blk_rowxfer(): blk layer: internal BLK-Library error: No value or default value available and NULL not allowed. col = 2
    CTLIB Message: - L0/O0/S0/N0/0/0:
    blk_rowxfer(): blk layer: internal BLK-Library error: No value or default value available and NULL not allowed. col = 3
    bcp copy in partially failed

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Couple of things.

    a) Make sure the columns are NULLABLE
    b) Have a delimiter in your flat file and specify it with the "-t" option.
