    Cool Unanswered: Capture Function keys

    How can I set a key like F9 or any other function key in any form in the .mdb file to function like F1 Help.

    you 'll have to set each form's KeyPreview property to true. also in each form, set the
    Code:
    Private Sub Form_KeyDown(KeyCode As Integer, Shift As Integer)
        If KeyCode = vbKeyF9 Then
          MsgBox "F9 was pressed", vbInformation
        End If
    End Sub
    i 'm actually not sure how to open the default help window from vbs. maybe someone else can help with that? if you want to create and open your OWN help file, there's some instructions on how to do that right here:
