Question Unanswered: RedHat Cluster and Oracle 10g

    Hey all,

I've been searching the web for "the recommended" setup for running a "grid" version of Oracle 10g... does anyone have suggestions or even a web site that lines out what we need? We are currently using RedHat AS 3 on x86 boxes. What additional software do we need?

    Thanks!

If you wouldn't to use Raw devices then you need some clustered filesystem such as OCFS or Veritas Cluster FS.

Then you need some HA cluster software such as Veritas Cluster Server
Maybe it seems like advertising of Veritas products but it is not.

Btw see installation howto (9i RAC) at look at: http://www.puschitz.com/
