    Unhappy Unanswered: Help!!!

I need to create a table with one unique record for each account number in a table. There are thousands of duplicates in the current table. The problem with just deleting duplicates is that each record has 5 yes/no fields that may be inconsistent within a set of duplicates. For a record where duplicates exist, if one of the 5 yes/no fields is = to yes, or all yes/no field entries are equal, this is the information that should display for an individual unique record.

Any ideas on how to create this?

    Need to use VBA code

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I had the same problem a few months ago with some customer data and had to write some rather complicated VBA code to get round it. How are you with VBA? I probably still have the code that I used somewhere if you want me to send it to you although taken out of it's original context it might not make much sense...

    Smile

Actually, we just figured it out. A little complicated, but my co-worker was able to use Access to get what she needed. Thank you for your offer, though!
