Thumbs down Unanswered: tracking sql queries of a gui

    Hi,

I'm working Unix and sybase system 10 (old one).
A gui is used to update, insert, delete into the sybase database.
I wanna know what queries the gui actually uses, to be able to do the same without using it.

What tools could be used ? Is there a log file (to setup ?) that stores all the queries done into the database ?

    thx a lot in advance

    regards,

    Vs

I don't know if this will work in System 10 but we use it in ASE 12 to track down the queries executed by frontend.

    dbcc traceon(11201,11202,11203,11204,11205,11206)

WARNING: It produces a huge output in errorlog. Turn it on only when you need it.
