    Unanswered: ADODB.Connection error '800a0e7a'

OK before you say anything I have searched the board!! The script works so it is a server issue. I downloaded and installed MDAC 2.8, rebooted, registered... Set all the right permissions. Why do I still get the error "Links Page

    ADODB.Connection error '800a0e7a'

Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.

    /aspcheck/linkspage.asp, line 22 "

It seems to be that ASP cannot find "links.mdb". Where is this file located in relation to the location of the ASP file?
That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
