    Unanswered: Database performance fall drastically

I have a very serious problem. Pls HELP

My oracle database server (8.1.7) was working properly. I ran a procedure through job and all of sudden users were start complaining that server responding very slowly. After 2 hours this procedure didnt return any result so I kill this process. But server keeps performing very slowly.

Now I restarted my server but still it performance is still very down and even some report didn’t producing any result, they just keep on running. These reports were running fine before this problem

If any body have any clue...thanks

Hah, has your procedure dynamically dropped bunch of indexes?
What kind of malicious code did you run?

"I restarted my server " - Typical Windows user. Restart can't solve everything!
