    Question Unanswered: Oracle Forms Builder error msg...

    Hi all, I'm using Oracle Forms Builder and I try to connect to Oracle server but I can't and there is msg pop up. "ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve service name"

    I have no idea about this, because this is the first time im using this. Does anyone know about this problem and how to fix it?

    In the CONNECT box for "Database" you should be entering the TNS alias name as it appears in the tnsnames.ora files and not the fully qualified host name.

    Angry I recieve another error msg...

    Thanks....

    But another error msg pop up...

    "ORA-12541: TNS: No Listener"
    Correct me if I wrong.

    It must have lost it's hearing.
    Ask the DBA to clean it's ears.
