Unanswered: How to hide MySQL console in Windows 98?
I am using MySQL 4.1. There is no problem running it on Windows NT, 2000, XP as a service. But unfortunately clients have Windows 98 licanse only.
I tried to add the following bat files to the autorun:
"start mysql --standalone"
As I understand from the documentation, the console should be visible only if you choose "mysql --console", isn't it?
But all these variants leave console on the desktop. Is there any possibility to hide the console in Windows 98?
