Unanswered: visibility property based on query

I am creating a booking database, and want to know when certain things are available. So far i have created a query (checkavailability) that sums the fields on a certain date, entered by the user. As the fields are yes/no boxes the query returns a -1 if the object is already booked. I have then created a form with text boxes and turned their visible properties off. I want them to be visible if the object is available. E.g. If in the query 'SumofAdventurer1' (title shown on results table) shows a -1, in the form the text box titled 'Adventurer1' should be visible. How do i refer to the summed field in the query?

    thanks for your help

Assuming you are using your query as a recordsource for the form, you can evaluate it by calling the field name.

In the After Update event, you could evaluate your field for -1 and set .visible properties accordingly.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
