    Unanswered: Refresh/Save Record

    Hi All,
I have created a form which generates Auto numbered requests. When complete users are asked to email the form by pressing a command button. This action generates a report based on a query. The query prompts for the number of the request to be mailed. The problem is that the underlying table hasn't been updated with the latest request so a blank page is generated. If I select "Save record" or "refresh" from the records tab it works. I cant find a Macro command to automate the process and my VB is zero. Could somebody put me out of my misery and suggest a soloution.

Also is it possible to mail the active window by default rather than prompting for a request number?
    Thanks

You need to save the record before emailing. Select RunCommand in your macro and SaveRecord in the command line.

    Thanks,

Of course that did the trick. This forum is almost as good as having somebody sitting next to you. Well done all.
