    Unanswered: Exporting from one connection to another

    Hi guys

    My app is a VB app which reads/processes data from different sources: .csv, .xls and .mdb. The .mdb file holds fully processed data.

    How do I quickly export rows from one recordset (connection is .csv or .xls file via ODBC) into another recordset (connection is Access table also via ODBC). I know I could iterate thru the records in one and addnew/update the other but I imagine there's a quicker and easier approach than that...

    Any help welcome.

    Thanks

    I have decided to do things the long but tested way!

    But, when opening a connection to the CSV file using
    oConn.Open _
    "Driver={Microsoft Text Driver (*.txt; *.csv)};" & _
    "Dbq=C:\somepath\& _
    "Extensions=asc,csv,tab,txt" & _
    "Persist Security Info=False"

    i am getting "[Microsoft][ODBC Driver]Invalid setting in Excel key of the engines section of the Windows Registry." Any ideas please?

    Thanks

    FYI, I took out the "Persist Security Info=False" and the connection finally worked fine. Thanks.
