    Unanswered: Generic form error handler

    Hello everybody

    I have created an On Form Error event handler, which is supposed to catch all generic errors that cannot be handled by more specific error handlers. When suck an error occurs I would like to display my own error message (works), tell Access to cancel any updating of the underlying table, and finally tell Access not to display it`s own error message.

    Does it have anything to do with the Response Parameter passed to the handler? The code as is now, is displayed below :

    Private Sub Form_Error(DataErr As Integer, Response As Integer)
    If Not IsDate(Me.Hmeromhnia) Then
    MsgBox ("Λάθος ημερομηνία")
    Cancel = True
    End If
    End Sub

    Any suggestions?
