    Unanswered: forms

    hi

    i have a form with all the movie details
    and i have a form with only the movie titles
    so now what i want is if i click on a movie name (in Titles Only) that the detail list automaticly to the same name goes
    i tried ,in the detail list to have a subform with the titles only form

    i had made a subform in the form movie details but was unable to link the name's to the subform titles only

    can somebody help me with this problem??

    Make a relationship between both tables then use similar code to this:

    Private Sub cmdView_Click()
    On Error GoTo Err_cmdView_Click

    Dim stDocName As String
    Dim stLinkCriteria As String

    stDocName = "Movie"

    stLinkCriteria = "[MovieID]=" & Me![MovieID]
    DoCmd.OpenForm stDocName, , , stLinkCriteria

    Exit_cmdView_Click:
    Exit Sub

    Err_cmdView_Click:
    'MsgBox Err.Description
    Resume Exit_cmdView_Click

    End Sub
