    Unanswered: Setting up the Audit Trail

    Hey all,

    I am currently investigating setting up the audit trail in our ASE 12.0.0.7 servers. It looks to me that it is a pretty simple procedure and I have tried it out on our test environment. Is there any tricks, tips or gotchas that anyone can offer me from using audit trail in a production environment? Anything at all would be great.. Thanks in advance.

    install at least two or three audit tables
    then you can easlily switch

    sp_configure "current audit table", n [, "with truncate"]

    where n means 1, 2, 3 ... 1 := sysaudits_01, 2 := sysaudits_02 ...
