    Angry Unanswered: Date() returns null value???? WHY!!!

    In my VB code I have the following statement:

    Me.Date = Date

    For some strange and unimaginable reason, instead of returning the system date like a good little computer should, it returns a null value. WHY!!!???

    It worked before. Now all of a sudden... BAM! Null value.

    Any reasons why this is happening? Anyone with any clues here?

    Thanks in advance.

    Do you have a text Field called Date?
    Try to avoid naming textBox with such reserved words, perhaps you can use Me.txtDate=DATE()
