Lightbulb Unanswered: Color Coding in reports

Hi All....I am using CR Ver 9.0.And extracting data from MS SQL DB 2000.Now that I want to display data in different color, based on the time (at which record was inserted in DB)

    For Example:
    Time A(In Blue) B(In Red) C(Yellow)
    __________________________________________________ _____
    1200 15(Blue) 0(Black) 0(Black)
    1205 0(Black) 0(Black) 12(Yellow)
    1210 0(Black) 5(Red) 0(Black)

Where colors other than Black indicates there are some valid values coming from DB and Black indicates null values.
I think some1 will help me on this if its possible in CR 9.0.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thumbs up

    Hi,
I have done a similar thing for closing dates in my sales report. Go to format field and chooose a default background colour and on the right hand formula X+2 tab, you will have to come up with a formula

for eg. If DateDiff ("d",CurrentDate,{CAL.ONDATE}) > 0 Then
    crgreen
    else
    crred

    Hope this helps......

    Regards
