    Unanswered: Mail merge speed

I have a form that queries info into specific text boxes. I also have a variety of other text boxes that a user can add info into manually. At this point, the user presses a button and it merges with word. Sometimes it takes 5 seconds but the majority of the time it takes about 20. Is there a way that I can speed up this process. The user writes about 50 different letters a day and that time adds up.

    Thanks!

Do they have to use all records in database? I think the more records that have to be merged the more time... is there any unneeded data?

Well I am just merging what is on the form after the query. I'm not merging directly from the table.

I didnt know you could merge from a form. Are you actually merging from the form or from a query that the form is based on?
