    Exclamation Unanswered: Report format inconsistency

    Okay, here's a good one...

I created a crystal report that connects to SQL Server 2000. It looks and prints fine in design. When I put this report in a web page (using Crystal's ASP Page that has worked many times before) my page formatting changes. The data in the page is not where it's supposed to be and the report looks bad -- overlapping data, misformated text boxes, etc.

I looked on the crystal site and there is something about the printer Crystal uses during design verses when it's on the web server. However, the printers on both machines are the same and when I click print from the web, it defaults to the same printer as on my machine (where I created the report).

If anybody has a fix for this I'd really really appreciate it!!

    You call this a fix??

Turns out that Crystal Reports Java Viewer is crap. If you force you computer to use the Active X viewer, the reports are fine.

New problem... we have some computers that can use the ActiveX and some that just won't do it!
