    Unanswered: Read only problem

We have an access db when opened comes with a message the 'Clients Brief' database is read only. After checking the properties the database is not in read only mode, the user permissions are all full control. The database is set to shared. The database is linked to another System.MDW for user permissions and groups. How do I change settings to make this database NOT read only?

    Thanks

Is the database on a hard drive? Have you checked the properties of the actual .mdb by right clicking? Sometimes if you copy the database from a certain place it will do that.
