    Unanswered: rman archive backup problem

    hello oracle DBAs,
    We are trying to incremental hot backup using RMAN.
    first.. the following script is been used for level 0.
    run {
    allocate channel d1 type disk;
    setlimit channel d1 kbytes 2097150 maxopenfiles
    32 readrate 200;
    set maxcorrupt for datafile 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 to 0;
    backup
    incremental level 0 cumulative
    skip inaccessible
    tag sunday_level_0
    format '/data7/backup/cdis/rman/db_%d_%s_%p.db'
    database;
    copy current controlfile to
    '/data7/backup/cdis/rman/df_t%t_s%s_p%p';
    sql 'alter system archive log current';
    backup
    format '/data7/backup/cdis/rman/al_t%t_s%s_p%p'
    archivelog all
    delete input
    release channel d1;
    }
    gives me the following error...

    sql statement: alter system archive log current

    Starting backup at 10-MAY-04
    current log archived
    released channel: d1

    it seems you have deleted archivelogs manually.
    so you have to run a 'crosscheck' in RMAN to make it aware which archivelogs ara available and which are deleted.
