    How do you define "redolog" files for a tablespace ?

    Does this help? Here are defined two groups of redo-log files.

    Code:
    CREATE DATABASE kcora7
    CONTROLFILE REUSE
    DATAFILE 'disk1:Šoracle7.db_kcora7Ćora_system1.dbs'
    SIZE 175M REUSE
    LOGFILE
    GROUP 1
    ('disk0:Šoracle7.db_kcora7Ćora_log11.rdo',
     'disk1:Šoracle7.db_kcora7Ćora_log12.rdo'
    )
    SIZE 5M REUSE,
    GROUP 2
    ('disk2:Šoracle7.db_kcora7Ćora_log21.rdo',
     'disk3:Šoracle7.db_kcora7Ćora_log22.rdo'
    )
    SIZE 5M REUSE
    MAXDATAFILES 32
    MAXLOGFILES 32
    MAXINSTANCES 16
    MAXLOGMEMBERS 2
    MAXLOGHISTORY 1600
    CHARACTER SET US7ASCII;

    Or you can add them after the db is created:

    SQL> alter database add logfile group 3 ('c:\temp\redo04.log','d:\temp\redo05.log') size 32M;
