    Unanswered: combine tables

    I want to combine 5 tables in Access that have the same fields in to one large table. How can I do it?

    I used a UNION query to combine the first two tables...the first table had 9649 records and the second one has 9701 records:

    select * table1
    union
    select * table2;

    I should have gotten a table with 19450 records, but I got 19300 records. What could be the problem?

    The math I did puts you should have 19350 Records. Is there a possibility you had 50 duplicates?

    Sorry I cant offer more info.

    Have you ever thought about thinking on purpose?

    I goofed off...you are correct. I used UNON ALL instead of UNION and got 19350 records.

    Now I have another question. This one I have no clue how to do. I have a query that put together all my 5 tables into one big table with 105,000 records. How do I take it to the 'tables' tab? I need to do this to be able to export it to a MySQL database. I couldn't export the query to Excel and back to Access since Excel maxes out at 65636 records.
