    Unanswered: database performance

One of our production server process is running very slow. The database is 4 node EEE in 7.2 on AIX.

We turned on all the switches including statement and took some snapshot of the process. But I don;t see any SQL statement in snapshot output. Is there any way to find out which statement is currently running.

It seems its doing some physical reads. But How do I know which statement is doing so many physicals reads. Is there any other monitor switch other than the basic 6 to turn on?

    Thanks,
    j

An event monitor will help to capture SQL Statements and details about them

Have a look at www.db2click.com - Tip of the Month section for operating the event monitor
