Arrow Unanswered: Okay I know this is a stupid question!

What is the "Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Resource Kit"

I was persuming it was a programme or patch for SQL server, however it's lookign more and more like a book.

Could some please clarify and if it is a programme/patch how can I get hold of it?

Right so it is a book, When it talk about feature, specifically the tool for migration of the SysBase Database is that on a CD attached to the book. Or is it a feature part of SQL Server that the book tell you how to use?

    Yes!

The SQL Resource Kit is kind of hard to describe. Large parts of it document things that are most charitably described as "murky" in the product documentation. The Sybase tools are on the included CD, but many of the tips and tricks are actually part of the base product. The executable that you want is on the CD, but the information in the book is actually more useful in my opinion.

It is kind of like the Windows 2000 Resource Kit. A mix of new code and new ideas, the synergy of which is the really important benefit.
