Unanswered: Automatically filling in Info from Combo Box
Ok Here is my deal. i am a Acesss novice, but learning. I have a form with a combo box that allows me to pull down names from student info table. It is a form that has 4 diffrent combo boxes because it pulls from the student list a posible 4 diffrent roommates. How can I have beside the combo box, when I select and entry, where it automatically lists the State, DOB, Start Date that match the student name? This info is also from the student info table Hope this makes sense.
What type of control will you want it to fill in? You just need to create a query on the afterupdate of the combo box (a query for each combo box). Then list that query as the recordsouce for the controls you want filled in.
