Lightbulb Unanswered: No 8-bit boundary in databuffer for sybperf12.dll

On my Win2k ASE12.5.0.3 box, I get a eventlogwarning about a databuffer for service SYBSQL_<servername>-file d:\sybase\ASE-12_5\dll\sybperf12.dll, which has no 8-bit boundary (or something like that).

The online-doc has no information about it (or I can't find it).
The server runs without any other warnings or problems, but I'm afraid it will go crazy if I don't solve it .

    I'm open to all suggestions!

don't worry about it. sybperf12.dll uses MS API's to hook into the NT perfmon. If you are not using perfmon to monitor sqlsrvr pid, then you don't need to worry about this problem.

I don't know what is the cause of the problem, perhaps some incompatibility with between sybperf and perfmon?

    Check with Sybase Support....

Ah...so it's ok to leave this warning where it is, unless I'm using perfmon?
    Thanks! .
