    Unanswered: Multiple triggers question.

My question is on triggers. Assume I have more than one trigger for a table. In one of the triggers, I am going to update a global package variable (say of data type integer) with a new value.

If one of the triggers (getting executed subsequent to the above said trigger) throws an error, is there a way I could correct the value I am setting above (which assumes that my insertion would be perfect). Not necessary that the trigger throws an error. It could be that the insert statement itself could get rolled back due to some reason. Is there a way I could do the correction ?

btw, if there are more than one triggers for a table is there a way to control the order of execution of the various triggers ?

    Appreciate your timely help !

Just to add, the inserts will be from a stored procedure

The order or trigger is based on the event. It cannot be controlled externally. Can you explain in detail what kind of trigger is it.
    Thanks and Regards,

Thanks for the reply. One is a before insert trigger and the rest would be triggered on insert or update or delete.
