In our company we have a DB that is running for quite some time now.
Last friday we had a crash. Now I'm trying to recover the DB.
It is a DB with linked tables.
All our departments have their own replication.
I'm able to recover and open the tables (data).
I have tried to recover the frontend and create the replications.
The strange thing is that on some machines the replication works fine, and on another machine the same replication cannot be opened.
The error message:
"An unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit the appliacation will be shut down immediately.
The Ms Jet Db engine can not open the file "Myreplication.mdb". It has beeen opened exclusivly by another user or you don't have the priveleges to view data."
The file is not read or write protected.
This error occurs whenever the user logs on, independant of the fact of another user is using the same replication.
The error occurs on some replications. On others it doesn't occur.
