    Unanswered: Sorting multiple report pages

I have a report that has several pages. I want to sort the pages in alphabetical order by one field that is present at the top of each page. I have tried grouping but for some reason it never works. Help please. Thanks.

... And why don't you order your data by that field at the top of the page so that you don't have to do this kind of thing? Think about it ...
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

How would I order the data by that field prior to opening the report? I assume you do an SQL statement or query; can I have a detailed explanation on how to do that? I am new to access, any help would be great. Thanks.
