    Unanswered: ASP to Crystal Report

    Hi there.....

I'm currently doing a program which connect from ASP to crystal report.
I come across this prob when i run the page which read as follow:

    Error Type:
    Server object, ASP 0178 (0x80070005)
The call to Server.CreateObject failed while checking permissions. Access is denied to this object.
    /esip_query/powerMati.asp, line 301

and the line coding i got at 301 is

    Set session("oAppExport") = Server.CreateObject("CrystalRuntime.Application")

which i use to opent the crsytal report application.
how can i overcome this prob.
    Thanx

IIS runs under the IUSR account, which has limited access to the server. If this account does not have permissions to the DLLs needed to create this object, you may have problems.

You can't.. you need the DLLs for Crystal. What I'm saying is, make sure the IUSR account on your server has permissions to the file location of the DLLs.
