    Unanswered: similar to nls_date_format

    Dear all,

In Oracle, we can alter a session variable as:-

    alter session set nls_date_format='YYYY/MM/DD HH24:MIS'

Is there any similar feature in sybase 12.

    Regards,

You can use convert function in Sybase to get the desired format...

    Thanks.

But in that case I need to code convert() in every select statement.

I have an existing Oracle program that want to port to the Sybase DB.

I need to to find a way to do this in session level to avoid the change of every sql statement.

Will that be any other methon in SYBASE to change the session variable.
