    Unanswered: Order of trigger?

For example,a table named TableName has two triggers all like this:

    create or replace trigger TriggerName
    after delete on TableName
    for each row
    ...

    When deleting,which first,which second?

The order is indeterminate: in theory, the firing order could change from one occasion to another.

If you care about the order of processing, combine the two triggers into one.

The answer is it is indeterminate.
Oracle will NOT guarentee firing order.
So combine into a single trigger & then YOU control the firing order.
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
