    Unanswered: Bind error help?

    Hi,

    One of our users is getting following error message. Has anyone worked on this kind of problem?

    import from c:\tempexp.out of del
    messages c:\tempimp.txt
    insert into gen.cm_master;

    SQL2019N An error occurred while binding the utilities to the database.

    There is no entry in diaglog.

    Thanks,

    What version, fixlevel and OS is the user on ?

    Use the same machine and logon as a privileged user and bind db2ubind.lst and db2cli.lst

    db2 bind @db2cli.lst blocking all grant public
    db2 bind @db2ubind.lst blocking all grant public

    The lst files are in the sqllib/bnd directory ...

    If the files do not exist on the machine, then use another machine which runs the same OS, Version and Fixpaks

    This is on AIX 5 UDB version 7.2. I ran the two bind commands that you specified on server.

    Do I have to do it on the user desktop?

    Thanks,
